SoHO Viewer

SoHO Viewer is a straightforward application designed for downloading and displaying the most recent images captured by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SoHO). The app offers push notifications to keep users informed about new image releases through a notification badge within the application.

The application was recognized as one of the top ten free applications for iPhone users interested in stargazing by Network World (source: Link). Additionally, it was featured in the March 2015 edition of Sky and Telescope magazine on page 70.

The images provided are courtesy of the SOHO consortium, a collaborative project between the European Space Agency (ESA) and NASA.

If you are looking to explore images captured by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), we recommend using the SDO Viewer application.
